Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was a former political candidate, as well as hosting a TV show on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has been a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her new fascination with politics to her experiences as a mother during the 2008 presidential primaries. Additionally, she also witnessed the US presidential election in 2008 while working in Jordan. She was able to see the impact of the election on people in that country, and thus became aware of the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
